Ashfields was born because of Winnie — the little face who brought so much joy into our lives. When we lost her, the pain was overwhelming, but what made it even harder was the cold, impersonal experience we had afterwards. At a time when we needed compassion and dignity for someone we loved so deeply, it simply wasn’t there.
We realised no family should ever feel that way.
Every pet deserves to be treated as more than an animal — they are family, they are memories, they are a part of our hearts. Winnie reminded us of that every day.
